BAY
MONITORING SENSOR
The Bay Monitoring Sensor (BMS) is a high-tech sensor which employs ultrasonic technology and advanced detection algorithms to determine the presence of vehicles within a designated parking space. Mounted on the ceiling above each parking space, the Bay Monitoring Sensor displays the occupancy status of the associated bay to drivers via a limited spectrum of coloured LEDs onboard the sensor. The Bay Monitoring Sensor communicates the detect status to the rest of the IdentiPark System via the IntelliBooster. Bay status can be indicated via Green (Available), Red (Occupied) Orange and/or Blue (Reserved) LEDs.
RGB BAY
MONITORING SENSOR
The RGB Bay Monitoring Sensor (BMS) is a high-tech sensor which employs ultrasonic technology and advanced detection algorithms to determine the presence of vehicles within a designated parking space. Mounted on the ceiling above each parking space, these sensors perform the same job of work as the standard BMS sensor. The differentiating feature of this sensor is that it offers users a wider colour spectrum of LEDs which is better suited to more specialized and customized applications.
BAY
OCCUPANCY DISPLAY
The Bay Occupancy Display (BOD) is suited to applications where the BMS may be obscured from the approaching vehicle. In this case, a BOD is installed in the driving aisle to indicate the status of one bay or a group of bays. It is an intelligent display which utilizes ambient light sensing technology to adjust the luminosity of the display to best suit the environment in which it is installed. As This device is connected and controlled by the BMS, with a maximum of one BOD per BMS. Bay status can be indicated via Green (Available), Red (Occupied) and/or Blue (Reserved) LEDs.
NUMERIC MESSAGE SIGN
The Numeric Message Sign (NMS) indicates the number of available parking bays in a specific zone or level, allowing a driver to make a pre-emptive decision as to whether they want to park in that zone or level before they enter. The indication of occupancy can be improved either through the use of a circle/cross, or arrow/cross enhancement to the NMS unit. The NMS receives its configuration and commands from the IdentiPark software and can be either powered from the IB along the sensor bus or from a mains power source.
INTERSECTION GUIDANCE DISPLAY
The Intersection Guidance Display (IGD) comprises configurations of green arrows or a red cross which act as visual cues to guide drivers and their respective vehicles to vacant parking bays in the facility. The arrows are used to indicate the direction drivers should go to find a vacant bay. This is done via the system which illuminates one of the arrows or any combination thereof. If the red cross is illuminated, it indicates to drivers that all the bays in the associated area are full.
SERVER
BASED SOFTWARE
IdentiPark software manages the guidance system, ensuring the information from every device in the network is received, controlled, stored and disseminated correctly. The information is made available in real-time and presented in a user friendly, graphical representation of the site. The use of a central database allows for easy and quick generation of reports. The fact that the software is in constant communication with each device on the network allows for easy configuration of devices as well as diagnostics via the intuitive user interface.
